INJECTION MOULDING PROCESS ENGINEER

Experienced Injection Moulding Process Engineer required by this technical manufacturing company.

Principal duties and responsibilities

1.To carry out the initial and subsequent sampling trials until the tool is approval by Quality for manufacture handover (on site or off site).
2.To optimise the moulding process window to meet the criteria set out in the costing.
3.Produce a full sampling report after every trial.
4.Responsible for ensure that the master (blue) condition setting sheets are kept up to date, by both the machine number and tool number.
5.Evaluate new equipment IE: - Tooling, Automation, Robotics, and Machinery.
6.Suggest and investigate process improvements.
7.Must always work within the safety regulations permitted.
8.Continuous improvements to manufacturing process.

MOULDING PROCESS ENGINEER

Reporting to the engineering leader for moulding the moulding process engineer will be primarily responsible for moulding machine reliability and the capability of the extended team to resolve moulding machine breakdowns with minimal production impact. Additional responsibilities include continuous improvement and project management.
